Des Moines Register Account

Sometimes people delete their accounts at the Des Moines Register for various reasons. That's not important. What's important is making sure the true facts of this case come out. I'm not the story. Remember to keep the comments to the story and not make personal attacks. I welcome comments in disagreement with me, as long as they're not personal attacks. I will delete comments where there are personal attacks against anyone. Personal attacks don't help us tell this story.

What a bunch of crap that the DMR deleted your posts. I didn't see anything you wrote that was slander or libel. It sounds like you hit a nerve with someone who doesn't want the truth to come out. What a suprise! Keep it up Doris! I started to sign on just to see what you had to say. I look forward to reading more.

More power to you Doris! I think this is just the beginning of everything that will come out and without you I doubt that some of it would ever come out. Keep up the good work :)

Way to go Doris!!!!

My parents always told me if I got to big for my britches, I could trip and fall. The Boeson's have fallen in a terrible way, but they need to step up to the plate and make full disclosure of the whole mess. Otherwise, I will visit their banks and ask for the same loan that Ed got. No questions should ever be asked. Keep digging Doris.

The conversation has stopped on the D.M Register. Wonder why???

Keep going Doris!

It is unfortunate that DMR decided to pull most of the posts. I wouldn't be surprised if the Boesens put some pressure on DMR threatening to pull some advertising dollars if this didn't tone down.

At the end of the day, I think Ed is going to be shown to be a major scam artist.

Keep up the excellent work! We need facts, not name-calling. Thanks for your efforts - many of us would never understand what is truly happening without your input. Thank you!

I don't know what posts were brought down and why but I do know that all of this is being read not only by all of us but by many childen related (and not related) to the Boesen's and it is hurting them. It's hard enough dealing with a family member or someone cloase that died but to also have to deal with everything else that has gone along with Ed's death. As a parent I feel for these children most...not only Ed's but the cousins, nieces, nephews and other children in the community that loved Ed and how he treated them. I think it's fine to present facts but also just be considerate about what is being presented knowing that kids are so active on the internet and will also be reading what is being written.

I very much have sympathy for the family on this one, but their grieving should not stop the reporting of the facts. Their family name should not afford them any protections or special treatment. The lawsuits are public record and they are not the only people out there to have gone through this. Ultimately there is no avoiding it.

To the person who said that the children etc. are reading this blog and it is hurting them, stop reading it and block your computer. They all had the pleasures of the dollars spent on them, so if it was fraud dollars they need to know the truth. I would say a 17 and 19 year old are old enough to know the truth. The smaller age kids will never understand what their Father did. It's shameful for the whole family, but we as tax paying citizens will help pay this bill. Are you going to tell Joe Q public, that none of this affects them???
